A PRP Facial is the use of the client’s own Platelet Rich Plasma (drawn on the day of treatment), with skin needling. PRP is the substance found in blood known for healing, when injected back into the skin it stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin, while skin needling works to improve the texture & tone of the skin. When the 2 modalities are combined the result is a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, minimising the appearance of scarring and evening the overall tone and texture of the skin . Additionally, PRP injections can be used to treat lines around the mouth, dark circles and crepey skin.
